Maggie Ranger has been working with plants for 39 years, she has taken various courses and education to teach herself and others about the Herbal medicines. Spending time with the plants, they are her best teachers and provide the best natural medicine.
"The Belle", is where she grows and wildcrafts the medicinal herbs that she uses in medicine making. Living in this area of the Cariboo, there is a great abundance of herbal and edible plants for traditional uses. She has worked with the Elders in the Secwepemc, the Tsilhqot'in, the Carrier and the Cree nations and has learned some of their traditional teachings. Living close to the land allows for connective relationship with the seasons, plants, critters, cycles and change. Maggie also offers Reiki, energy work, Herbal teachings, Touch for Health, Sweat Lodge and other ceremonies.

Bill Irwin works with sound and electricity. That involves audio electronics, PA systems and home stereo systems. There is a full PA system resident at the Centre and the plan is to build an outdoor stage for summer musical events. We are fortunate in having a large space to do this.
Bill has installed and serviced off grid electric systems for many years including micro-hydro and solar systems. Currently he is finishing an expanded shop /studio where some of his speaker designs will be displayed. The acoustically treated room will allow experimenting with live acoustic recording and playback on accurate monitor speakers. Solar powered, of course! A longtime interest in astronomy has made the Bells lake observatory possible. Bill can be found searching for that obscure celestial object on a clear dark night.
